About the Job:

We are looking for a Junior Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our team at Pixster Studio in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). This role is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of experience to gain hands-on experience in product design. You will work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to contribute to the design of our products, from initial concepts to implementation. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for design, a willingness to learn, and a keen eye for detail.

Role Requirements:

  • 0-1 year of experience in UI/UX Design (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).

  • Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Basic understanding of Human Interface Guidelines (HIG - Apple) and Material Design Guidelines (Google).

  • Strong grasp of typography, color theory, spacing, and fundamental design principles.

  • A portfolio showcasing design work and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced product-based company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design process for new and existing products, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and QA to support the implementation of design solutions.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of mini design systems tailored to each product, ensuring consistency and scalability in design.

  • Conduct competitor analysis and research to understand industry trends and enhance design decisions.

  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior designers.

  • Assist in designing app icons, App Store/Play Store previews, and promotional materials aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Continuously improve design work, adhering to best practices and design standards.

  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance the overall user experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working on personal or academic UI/UX projects.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.

    Basic understanding of front-end development (is a plus point).

  • Interest in user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
